Old Quarry Campground is a very special place to us and to the people that visit. We have kept the campground small so that it offers privacy and quiet, and designed it so that vehicles are kept away from most of the camp sites. Large garden carts are available to move equipment. We offer wooded sites, ocean sites, and open sites for groups and RVs less than 30 feet. Most sites except overflows have a 12′ x 12′ tent platform, 8′ picnic table, deck chairs, and fire ring. ALL SITES EXCEPT 1, 9, 13, and 15 ARE WALK-IN SITES (you are unable to drive up to your campsite). Please note: We cannot accommodate vehicles over 30 feet in length in any of our sites.
Firewood, ice, and sundries are available at the camp store. Breakfast, lunch and dinner (including cooked lobster) are available at our takeout. Please LEAVE YOUR FIREWOOD AT HOME – invasive insects can be in, on, or under the bark or in the wood. The Maine Forest Service asks that you help protect Maine’s forests from exotic insects and diseases; buy wood where you burn it.
Amenities in the campground include a clean bathhouse with free hot showers, laundry, WiFi, swimming pond, access to our Maine shoreline, dock floats, moorings, kayak launch sites, a camp store with food, gear and sundries, live lobsters for sale and lobster bakes, takeout restaurant, kayak, paddleboard (SUP), and canoe rentals, charter boat tours, hiking at the adjacent Settlement Quarry Park (a historic Maine quarry that has a gorgeous view and interpretive signs).
Park and launch is free if you camp here.
